Knotty Times LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains the information used by our websites and the Knotty Roulette mobile game. We do not sell personal data or use mobile-game data to track people across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Mobile game information

Knotty Roulette creates a random, app-specific installation identifier and records anonymous gameplay events such as game starts, platform and app version, selected challenge pack, player count, anonymous player position, challenge identifier and source, scores, outcomes, reaction identifiers, timing, completion, abandonment, and immediate replay. We use this information to understand whether the game works, improve game flow, and diagnose aggregate performance. Player names, challenge text, contacts, location, and hardware advertising identifiers are not sent with this gameplay telemetry.

The free version may display direct sponsor messages. We record an impression only after an image is displayed or a video begins playing, and record a click when a sponsor link is selected. These events include the ad, placement, platform, app version, time, and a short-lived random delivery identifier used to prevent duplicate counting. We do not use these events for cross-app advertising profiles. Purchasing the ad-free option suppresses these sponsor messages and their associated events.

Purchases

Apple or Google processes mobile purchases. The app sends the applicable store receipt or purchase token, product identifier, and platform to our validation service so purchases can be verified and restored. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Website and support information

When you place an order, contact support, or submit information through a Knotty Times website, we use the information you provide to fulfill the request, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Hosting, commerce, app-store, and infrastructure providers may process information on our behalf to deliver these services.

Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, security, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Mobile telemetry is encrypted in transit and designed to avoid direct identity data. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information processed.

Choices and requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us through the Contact Us page or at support@knottytimes.com. Anonymous mobile records may not be linkable to a person unless sufficient information is provided to identify the applicable app-specific record. Store purchase and refund requests may also need to be handled by Apple or Google.

Age and changes

Knotty Roulette is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date below.
